Australian Defence Advisor makes farewell call on Defence Secretary
December 13, 2023The outgoing Defence Advisor of the Australian High Commission in Colombo, Captain Ian Cain made his farewell call on the Defence Secretary General Kamal Gunaratne at the Defence Headquarters Complex in Sri Jayewardenepura, Kotte today (Dec 13).
The incoming Defence Advisor Colonel Amanda Johnston (Australian Army), also joined the outgoing Defence Advisor on his visit.
While exchanging views, the Defence Secretary appreciated Capt. Cain for his excellent relations, military diplomacy and goodwill maintained with the Defence Ministry and the armed forces during his tenure in Sri Lanka.
Capt. Cain also expressed his gratitude to Gen. Gunaratne for the continuous assistance and support he received from the Defence Ministry during his tenure in Sri Lanka.
