Army builds a house for a for Columbuthurai Family
January 02, 2024Sri Lanka Army troops of 17 Gemunu Watch (GW) constructed a new house and handed it over to a beneficiary family of four children in Columbuthurai recently supporting to uplift their living standards.
The financial support for the project which marks the 772nd house constructed by the troops of Jaffna was provided by the Durayappah family residing in Canada, Army sources stated.
51 Infantry Division General Officer Commanding Maj Gen Wajira Welagedara, Officers, Other Ranks and civilians attended the event.
