Actg. Additional Secretary (Defence) takes over duties
January 04, 2024Mr. Harsha Vithanaarachchi who has been newly appointed as the Actg. Additional Secretary (Defence), took over duties at the Ministry of Defence in 1st January 2024.
Mr. Harsha Vithanaarachchi who is a senior officer of the Sri Lanka Administrative Service has held various appointments in a number of ministries and at the Embassy of Sri Lanka in Sweden during his career spanning over 20 years.
Prior to taking over this appointment, he served as Senior Assistant Secretary (Defence) at the Ministry of Defence.
