‘PNS Saif’ arrives on a formal visit to Colombo
January 30, 2024Making a formal visit to Sri Lanka, the Pakistan Naval Ship (PNS) Saif arrived at the port of Colombo today (Jan 30).
The visiting ship was welcomed by the Sri Lanka Navy (SLN) in compliance with naval traditions, SLN Media says.
PNS Saif is a 123m-long Sword Class Frigate manned by a crew of 276 naval personnel.
While on the island, the crew will visit several tourist attractions in the country. PNS Saif is scheduled to conduct a Passage Exercise (PASSEX) with an SLN ship before its departure on Thursday (Feb 1), it further says.
