State Minister visits Pakistan Naval Ship
February 01, 2024State Minister of Defence Hon. Premitha Bandara Tennakoon, visited the Pakistan Naval Ship (PNS) Saif on Wednesday (Jan. 31). PNS Saif arrived in Sri Lanka on Tuesday (Jan. 30) on an official visit.
State Minister Tennakoon was received by the Commanding Officer of the ship Captain Muhammad Ali upon his arrival on board ship. Acting High Commissioner of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan H.E. Wajid Hassan Hashmi was also present at the occasion.
Hon. Speaker, Minister of Ports, Shipping and Aviation, Chief of Defence Staff, Commanders of the Army and Navy, former Commanders, members of the diplomatic corps and Military Liaison Officer of the Ministry of Defence were also present at the occasion.
