SF-Wanni Troops Donate Blood to Vavuniya District General Hospital
February 26, 2024Troops of Security Force Headquarters – Wanni (SFHQ-Wanni) arranged a blood donation programme to replenish essential blood stocks of the Vavuniya District General Hospital on Thursday (22 Feb) at the Army Field Hospital, SF-Wanni.
During the programme, 103 Army personnel serving under SF-Wanni voluntarily donated blood and the initiative was taken by Major General W.P.A.D.W. Nanayakkara RSP VSV USP ndu, Commander, SF-Wanni to arrange the event.
The Army Field Hospital, SF-Wanni together with the staff of Vavuniya District General Hospital made the necessary arrangements to organize the event.
