State Minister of Defence enlightens student officers of DSCSC
March 21, 2024State Minister of Defence Hon. Premitha Bandara Tennakoon addressed the student officers of Defence Services Command and Staff College (DSCSC) on Wednesday (Mar 20).
Minister Tennakoon enlightened the student officers of Course No 18 on ‘Contemporary National Security Challenges of Sri Lanka and how best the armed forces be structured and prepared’ after accepting an invitation of Commandant of DSCSC Maj. Gen. Lasantha Rodrigo. He captured the unhindered attention of the audience while shared his insightful knowledge on the topic at the 'Diners Club' which is an important event in the DSCSC's course structure.
Consequently, the State Minister took time off to interact with the Student Officers including foreign Student Officers and Instructors and shared his thoughts with them.
DSCSC officials including the Deputy Commandant and spouses of the Student Officers were also present at the occasion.
