Defence Ministry receives personal protective kits
December 24, 2020South Korea-based Sri Lankarama Buddhist Association donated a stock of personal protective equipment (PPE) to the Defence Ministry today (Dec 24).
The Defence Secretary Maj. Gen. (Retd). Kamal Gunaratne received the donation from the Chief incumbent of Sri Lankaramaya in South Korea, Venerable Katuwana Vijithawansa thero at the Defence Ministry premises.
The Sri Lankan employees in South Korea have contributed to this donation under the patronage of South Korea’s ‘Suwaviru Surekuma’ organization.
Chief incumbent of Wadduwa Samudrarama Maha Viharaya Rajakeeya Pandith Gammana Vijayadhamma thero, Chairperson of Sri Lankarama Buddhist Association in South Korea and Director Client Service Mr. Prabath Edirisinghe were present at the occasion.
