Harsha Vithanaarachchi appointed as Additional Secretary (Defence)
June 01, 2024Harsha Vithanaarachchi has been appointed as the Additional Secretary (Defence). He received his appointment letter from Defence Secretary General Kamal Gunaratne yesterday (31 May).
Harsha Vithanaarachchi is a senior officer of the Sri Lanka Administrative Service and has held various appointments in several Ministries and also at the Sri Lankan Embassy in Sweden in his career spanning over 20 years.
Priority to his new appointment he was serving as the Acting Additional Secretary (Defence).
