Army distributes welfare gifts to Children
December 25, 2020In line with the Army’s customary Christmas service, gift parcels and incentives were distributed to a representative group of children of Army families at the Army HQ recently.
Chief of Defence Staff and Commander of the Army Lt. Gen. Shavendra Silva and President Army Seva Vanitha Unit Mrs Sujeewa Nelson gave away the gifts as another welfare gesture of the Army.
The occasion was organized while adhering to the health directives issued for prevention of COVID-19 and a representative gathering was present.
