Lady Officer Cadet T.K.A.G.W Chathurangani Triumphs at the
4th CISM Military World Cadet Games

Lady Officer Cadet T.K.A.G.W Chthurangani representing Sri Lanka participated in the 4th CISM Military World Cadet Games, held at Caracas, Venezuela from 19 to 24 August 2024 and was abled to achieve a triumphant victory at the Long Jump event with a recorded achievement of 5.24m.
She as an emerging female athlete is presently undergoing her advanced military training at the Sri Lanka Military Academy (SLMA) Diyatalawa under Intake KDU 93 B, and received this ideal opportunity of attending the competition.
Having shielded one Gold medal and two Bronze medals, the Sri Lanka Cadet team was able to win the 6th place at the 4th CISM Military World Cadet Games.
The SLMA felt extremely proud of her personal achievement and outstanding performance for the Sri Lanka Team at this international encounter.
The International Military Sport Organization (CISM) plays a significant role in promoting friendship among military personnel worldwide while bringing them together through various sports activities as well as competitions.
