Pandemic Control Operations
December 28, 2020Tri-Forces and Police are conducting the operations to contain the spread of Coronavirus in the island by untiringly engaging in identifying the virus hit patients and sending their close contacts for quarantine to the Tri-Forces managed quarantine centres established around the country.
According to Sri Lanka’s Epidemiology Unit statistics, 41,054 confirmed cases were reported up to 26 Dec, making it the total number of cases reported in the country.
32,701 patients were recovered and the total number of deaths increased to 191 as of 26 Dec. The dotted blue curve on the graph below denotes the number of patients.
