NCC School Cadet Band Challenge Trophy Camp 2024 held
October 04, 2024The All Island Western Cadet Band Challenge Trophy Camp 2024 of the National Cadet Corps (NCC) was held at the NCC Training Centre in Rantambe, recently (Oct 2).
This year, 37 Boys and 09 Girls Western Band Cadet Platoons participated in the competition. Challenge trophies were presented to winners by the Director NCC Brigadier Sudantha Fonseka who attended the event as the chief guest.
The Major General TI Weeratunge Challenge Trophy- 2024 for the Champion Platoon (Boys) was won by Bandaranayake Central College, Veyangoda, while the Brigadier AER Abeysinghe Challenge Trophy for the Champion Platoon-2024 (Girls) was won by Maha Maya Girls' School, Kandy.
