New TRC Director General meets Defence Secretary
October 09, 2024The newly appointed Director General of the Telecommunications Regulatory Commission (TRC) Air Vice Marshal Bandula Herath (Retd) made his initial call on the Defence Secretary AVM Sampath Thuyacontha (Retd) at the Defence Ministry in Sri Jayawardenepura, Kotte today (Oct 9).
During the meeting, the Defence Secretary had a cordial discussion with AVM Herath (Retd) and extended greetings on his new appointment.
Air Vice Marshal Bandula Herath (Retd) USP, MSc (Def Stu) in Mgt, BSc (Def Stu),AEC, SEMOC, DQM, GREENSL(AP), MIM (SL) a distinguished former officer of the Sri Lanka Air Force took up the post of TRC Director General last week (Oct 4).
