‘INS Kalpeni’ arrives on a formal visit to Sri Lanka
October 21, 2024Making a formal visit to Sri Lanka, Indian Navy Fast Attack Craft (FAC), INS Kalpeni (T-75) arrived at the port of Colombo on Saturday (Oct 19).
The visiting Indian ship was welcomed by the Sri Lanka Navy (SLN) in compliance with naval traditions, SLN media says.
The 49-meter-long Car Nicobar class FAC is manned by a crew of 70.
While on the island, the crew will visit several tourist attractions in the country before the ship's scheduled departure on October 21, it further says.
