A Special Priority Vehicle Sticker for War Heroes
October 28, 2024The war heroes who valiantly defended the nation’s territorial integrity, now living with disabilities, frequently encounter challenges related to parking and accessibility when they visit government facilities for their needs.
They were frequently obliged to walk long distances from remote vehicle parking lots using crutches or other assistance devices.
To avoid these inconveniences, the Ranaviru Seva Authority, with the approval of the Ministry of Public Security, designed a special sticker to prioritize disabled war heroes and the next of kin of fallen war heroes when parking their vehicles at government institutions.
Therefore, the public requested to kindly acknowledge their sacrifice by prioritizing the vehicles displaying this special sticker.
Two disabled war heroes were symbolically awarded the priority sticker during the inauguration of the Special Vehicle Sticker on October 16, at Ranaviru Seva Authority.
