Director of COSATT meets Defence Secretary
November 13, 2024Director of the Consortium of South Asian Think Tanks (COSATT), Dr. Nishchal N. Pandey, met the Defence Secretary, Air Vice Marshal Sampath Thuyacontha (Retd), at the Defence Headquarters Complex in Sri Jayewardenepura, Kotte, today (Nov 13).
The Defence Secretary warmly received Dr. Pandey and had a cordial discussion with him. Dr. Pandey handed over a copy of the book “Labour Migrants from South Asia: Issues and Concerns" which was recently launched to the Defence Secretary
During the discussion, Dr. Pandey further reaffirmed his collaboration with the Institute of National Security Studies (INSS), which functioned under the purview of the Ministry of Defence, Sri Lanka.
The Overlooking Director General and Acting Director (Research) of INSS was also present at the meeting.
