JMSDF SAMIDARE arrives at the Port of Colombo
November 18, 2024The Japan Maritime Self-Defence Force (JMSDF) ship SAMIDARE arrived at the Port of Colombo on a formal visit on Sunday (Nov 17).
Sri Lanka Navy (SLN) welcomed the visiting ship in accordance with naval traditions, the SLN media reported.
The 151-meter-long ship is manned by 199 crew members.
During the ship’s stay in Colombo, the crew members are expected to visit some of the tourist attractions in the country, and she will depart the island on November 19, the report added.
