SLAF and Montana National Guard successfully conclude
CBRN response and EOD expert exchange programme

Sri Lanka Air Force (SLAF) and Montana National Guard successfully concluded a Subject Matter Expert Exchange (SMEE) on Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (CBRN) Response, Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) and Maritime Port Recovery at SLAF Base Katunayake from November 18 to 22, SLAF media says.
The event facilitated collaboration between the SLAF, Sri Lanka Navy and national organizations including the Sri Lanka Atomic Energy Regulatory Council, National Authority for Implementation of Chemical Weapons Convention, Ministry of Health, Central Environment Authority, Marine Environment Protection Authority, Airport & Aviation Services (PVT) Ltd, Sri Lanka Ports Authority and Disaster Management Centre, it says.
This initiative underscores the SLAF's commitment to enhancing the professional capabilities of its personnel and strengthening partnerships with key stakeholders to bolster national resilience against complex CBRN and EOD threats, it further says.
