High Commissioner of Pakistan calls on the Deputy Minister of Defence
January 06, 2025High Commissioner of Pakistan to Sri Lanka His Excellency Major General Faheem Ul Aziz (Retd) made a courtesy call on the Deputy Minister of Defence, Major General Aruna Jayasekara (Retd) at his office in Colombo, today (Jan 06).
The Pakistani High Commissioner and Maj. Gen. Jayasekara (Retd) held a cordial discussion during the meeting. The Deputy Minister expressed appreciation for the long-standing cooperation and friendly relations between the two countries to the Pakistani envoy.
Discussions focused on the importance of bilateral defence cooperation and exploring opportunities further to strengthen these ties in areas of mutual interest. The meeting reinforced both nations' commitment to continued collaboration and partnership.
