New Director General appointed to the CSD
January 23, 2025The newly appointed Director General of the Civil Security Department (CSD) Major General KHP Palitha Fernando (Retd), received his Letter of Appointment today (Jan 23).
Maj. Gen. Fernando (Retd) received his appointment letter from Defence Secretary Air Vice Marshal Sampath Thuyacontha at the Defence Ministry, this morning.
He will be replacing Air Vice Marshal Roshan Biyanwila (Retd) as the new Director General.
