NDC Commandant calls on the Defence Secretary
January 28, 2025The Commandant of the National Defence College (NDC), Major General Chamila Munasinghe (Retd), called on the Defence Secretary Air Vice Marshal Sampath Thuyacontha (Retd) at the Defence Ministry in Sri Jayawardenepura, Kotte today (Jan 28).
During the meeting, the two dignitaries discussed matters of mutual interest concerning the role of strategic education in enhancing the capabilities of military personnel.
The discussion also highlighted the importance of the NDC as a premier institution for defence and strategic studies, fostering leadership and expertise among senior officers of the armed forces and friendly nations.
