Outgoing Army Chief of Staff Bids Farewell to Defence Secretary
February 06, 2025Outgoing Chief of Staff of the Sri Lanka Army Major General Dinesh Nanayakkara made a farewell call on the Defence Secretary Air Vice Marshal Sampath Thuyacontha (Retd) at the Defence Ministry in Sri Jayawardenepura, Kotte today (Feb 06).
Defence Secretary commended Major General Nanayakkara for his dedicated service and leadership, acknowledging his outstanding role in the Sri Lanka Army.
As a token of appreciation, the Defence Secretary presented a memento to Major General Nanayakkara, recognizing his commitment and years of service to the nation. The outgoing Chief of Staff expressed his gratitude to the Defence Secretary and reaffirmed his confidence in the continued success of the Sri Lanka Army.
