Italian Naval Ship ANTONIO MARCEGLIA

The Deputy Minister of Defence Major General Aruna Jayasekara (Retd) visited the Italian Naval Ship ANTONIO MARCEGLIA last evening (Feb 07). The ship arrived in Sri Lanka on Wednesday (Feb 05) for a replenishment visit.
The Deputy Minister of Tourism, Prof. Ruwan Ranasinghe also joined the visit and the Commanding Officer of the ship, Commander Alberto Bartolomeo, received the distinguished guests on their arrival onboard. HE the Ambassador of the Republic of Italy to Sri Lanka, Mr. Damiano Francovigh was also present at the event.
Members of the Diplomatic Corps, Defence Ministry officials, Tri Forces officers and the ship’s crew members were present at the occasion.
