Delegation Visits Defence Ministry

A delegation from the Rwanda Defence Force Command and Staff College (RDFCSC), led by the Head of the Academic Department, Colonel Lausanne Nsengimana Ingabire, visited the Ministry of Defence in Sri Jayawardenepura, Kotte, today (Feb 11).
The delegation engaged in a cordial discussion with senior ministry officials, headed by Acting Secretary Defence Mrs. Indika Wijegunawardana. The discussions focused on strengthening bilateral defence cooperation, knowledge exchange and strategic partnerships between the two nations.
Subsequently, the Rwandan delegation took part in an interactive session at the auditorium with the Military Liaison Officer of the Ministry of Defence. Representatives from the Rwandan Honorary Consulate in Colombo also joined the session.
The visit concluded with an exchange of mementoes, marking the significance of the engagement and reaffirming the commitment to strengthening ties between the defence institutions of Sri Lanka and Rwanda.
