Turkish Ambassador meets Defence Secretary
January 01, 2021Her Excellency R. Demet Sekercioglu, Ambassador of Turkey for Sri Lanka, made a courtesy call on Defence Secretary Gen. (Retd) Kamal Gunaratne at the Ministry, today (Jan 01).
Matters of bilateral importance and mutual relevance were discussed during the meeting held between the Defence Secretary and H.E. Sekercioglu.
The Ambassador also conveyed his wishes to the Defence Secretary for his recent promotion to the rank of four-star General and extended New Year greetings during the occasion.
