A Series of Programs to Educate Defence Ministry Officials on the
Clean Sri Lanka Initiative

The first phase of the Series of programs, aimed at raising awareness among non-executive staff officers from institutions under the purview of the Ministry of Defence (MoD) and gathering their feedback and suggestions, was held today (Apr 8) at the MoD premises.
This awareness campaign is structured in multiple phases targeting non-executive staff across various MoD-affiliated institutions. Following the initial session, additional programs are scheduled to take place on April 24, 28 and 29.
The Clean Sri Lanka project is being successfully implemented across the country with the goal of enhancing administrative, social, environmental and economic sustainability.
The session emphasized the importance of active participation by attendees in advancing the objectives of the national Clean Sri Lanka initiative. Participants were also encouraged to contribute ideas and recommendations for future actions.
Reaffirming its key role in national security, MoD expressed its full support for the government’s vision of a cleaner and more prosperous Sri Lanka.
The event was attended by senior officials of the MoD along with non-executive staff officers from various affiliated institutions.
