January 04, 2021Accomplishing yet another social welfare oriented initiative, the Sri Lanka Navy (SLN) installed a Reverse Osmosis (RO) plant at the Ruwanwelisaya premises in Anuradhapura on 26 Dec.
The new facility is expected to deliver safe drinking water for thousands of devotees/pilgrims visiting to the sacred Maha Stupa throughout the year.
This RO plant installation symbolizes the milestone of the 800th RO plant within the project, which was mooted to facilitate the water-stressed populace on the island.
It also has a befitting solution to eradicate regional chronic kidney failure.
