Military support to uplift education in Kilinochchi
January 06, 2021Extending a supportive measure to the educational needs of schoolchildren, the Security Force Headquarters (SFHQ)-Kilinochchi donated a stock of reading materials and stationary to 300 students in Kilinochchi recently.
Accordingly, children belong to Mahadeva Swamigal Children's Home and Arivichcholai Children's Home received stationary, reading materials and incentives during the session.
Army enabled the worthy donation to the needy children through a sponsorship of a philanthropist following a request made by the SFHQ Kilinochchi.
SFHQ Kilinochchi Commander, Chairperson of Sri Lanka Artillery Regiment Seva Vanitha Unit, the philanthropists, invitees and children were present at the event organized.
