SLAF troops in Sigiriya donate blood
January 20, 2021Sri Lanka Air Force (SLAF) troops at Sigiriya donated blood recently to replenish blood stocks required in the event of emergencies.
The campaign was organized under the guidance of the Commanding Officer of SLAF Station, Sigiriya following a request made by Ven. Beralapanathara Medhankara Thero of Kapuwatta Sri Anandarama Temple, SLAF said.
A large number of service personnel and civilians donated blood during the event conducted in collaboration with Matale District General Hospital Blood Bank.
