Military receives a stock of facemasks & RAT kits worth Rs. 25 million
January 20, 2021Two Korean companies in appreciation of the role played by the tri-servicemen in the fight against COVID-19, jointly gifted a stock of facemasks and Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) kits.
The Army said IME Korea and SD Biosensors companies made the donation through their local partners recently.
The donation was organized in close consultation with the Sri Lankan Embassy in Seoul, Korea and Commander of the Sri Lanka Army.
The Rs 25 million valued stock of donation included 8,000 facemasks for the use of servicemen and 10,000 RAT kits for COVID-19 diagnoses.
Local partners of the donor companies were present during the donation at the Army Headquarters in Sri Jayawardenepura.
