Army destroyes Rs. 10 Mn worth 'Cannabis' cultivation
January 27, 2021The Sri Lanka Army’s 18 Gemunu Watch troops raided an illegal Cannabis cultivation in an area of approx. one acre at Siyambalanduwa Bakmitiyawa reserve (Jan 26).
According to the Army, the cultivation worth approx. Rs. 10 million was totally distroyed during the raid.
The operation conducted following information received was closely monitored by the Commander of the 121 Brigade and also supervised by the Police.
The Damana Police are conducting onward investigations.
