Any individuals, groups or organizations involved publishing false news, information, images, interviews or any other form of publications that could provoke communal/racial tensions, public disturbance or disunity among the people is liable for prosecution under Emergency Regulations, currently in force.

Laws under Emergency Regulations will be strictly enforced against persons, groups or organizations that use any method of media to spread rumors, false propaganda or disinformation.

Moreover, actions will also be taken against, persons, groups or organizations who make misleading statements or acts trying to mislead the Security Forces, in accordance with the Emergency Regulations.

Therefore, all sections of the general public are strongly cautioned to refrain from involving in such activities.
