Army sets up yet another quarantine facility in Jaffna
February 01, 2021The Sri Lanka Army (SLA) has set up an emergency care quarantine facility while converting a state-owned building complex at Vasavilan, Jaffna recently.
521 Brigade troops under the guidance of the Commander, Security Forces-Jaffna (SF-J) extended their supportive measures in setting up the new facility with the capacity of 500-1000 beds.
Head of the National Operations Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak, Chief of Defence Staff and Army Commander Gen. Shavendra Silva also inspected the new facility yesterday (Jan 31).
SLA's Chief of Staff, SF-J Commander and Senior Officers were also present at the inspection.
