840 persons left hospitals after complete virus recovery
February 04, 2021The total Coronavirus positives identified during the last 24 hours ending at 06.00 a.m. today (February 04) stands at 711 and the total cases in the country increased to 66,408, the National Operations Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO) stated.
All the positives identified yesterday were Sri Lankans while 236 of them have been identified from Colombo District, 93 from Gampaha District, 74 from Kurunegala District and 308 persons from other districts, the NOCPCO said.
The number of infected persons associated with the Minuwangoda and Peliyagoda Fish Market cluster increased to 62,421 and out of them, a total of 57,785 have left hospitals following complete recovery.
The NOCPCO also stated that a total of 13,218 PCR tests were conducted yesterday (03).
A total of 840 persons have left hospitals yesterday after complete recovery from the virus.
The total recovery from the virus in the country rose to 59,882 persons. 6,194 Coronavirus patients are undergoing medical treatments while 7,400 persons are quarantining under 91 centers managed by Tri-Forces, the NOCPCO added.
The country’s COVID-19 death toll has increased to 332 along with four Coronavirus deaths reported during the last 24 hours.
