Total virus recovery in Sri Lanka rose to 65,052 persons
February 10, 2021The total Coronavirus positives identified during the last 24 hours ending at 06.00 a.m. today (February 10) stands at 976 and the total cases in the country increased to 71,210, the National Operations Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO) stated.
One person among the total positives identified yesterday is a Sri Lankan repatriated from overseas while 252 of them have been identified from Colombo District, 227 from Gampaha District, 150 from Kandy District and 346 persons from other districts, the NOCPCO confirmed today (February 10).
The number of infected persons associated with the Minuwangoda and Peliyagoda Fish Market cluster increased to 67,705 and out of them, a total of 63,659 have left hospitals following complete recovery.
The NOCPCO also stated that a total of 14,402 PCR tests were conducted yesterday (09).
A total of 912 persons have left hospitals yesterday after complete recovery from the virus.
The total recovery from the virus in the country rose to 65,052 persons. 5,788 Coronavirus patients are undergoing medical treatments while 9,062 persons are quarantining under 94 centres managed by Tri-Forces, the NOCPCO added.
The country’s COVID-19 death toll has increased to 370 along with five Coronavirus deaths reported during the last 24 hours.
