591 persons left hospitals yesterday after complete virus recovery
February 11, 2021The total Coronavirus positives identified during the last 24 hours ending at 06.00 a.m. today (February 11) stands at 963 and the total cases in the country increased to 72,173, the National Operations Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO) stated.
Eight persons among the total positives identified yesterday were Sri Lankans while 298 of them have been identified from Colombo District, 255 from Gampaha District, 81 from Kaluthara District and 321 persons from other districts, the NOCPCO said.
The number of infected persons associated with the Minuwangoda and Peliyagoda Fish Market cluster increased to 68,660 and out of them, a total of 64,250 have left hospitals following complete recovery.
The NOCPCO also stated that a total of 16,493 PCR tests were conducted yesterday (10).
A total of 591 persons have left hospitals yesterday after complete recovery from the virus.
The total recovery from the virus in the country rose to 65,643 persons. 6,155 Coronavirus patients are undergoing medical treatments while 8,918 persons are quarantining under 93 centres managed by Tri-Forces, the NOCPCO added.
The country’s COVID-19 death toll has increased to 375 along with five Coronavirus deaths reported during the last 24 hours.
