Army commences Kaikawala Primary School playground renovation
February 17, 2021Fulfilling a long-felt need of the Kaikawala Primary School in Meemure, the Sri Lanka Army (SLA) began renovation work of the school playground recently.
Following a request made by the students, parents and teachers of the school during the President’s ‘Gama Samaga Pilisandara’ programme held at Meemure on February 13, His Excellency the President entrusted the renovation to the SLA.
Accordingly, the SLA engineer troops began the renovation works on the following day utilizing the manpower and technical expertise of 6 Field engineer troops.
