SLAF wins award for ‘Best Annual Report and Accounts’
February 25, 2021The Sri Lanka Air Force (SLAF) was awarded the ‘Best Annual Report and Accounts’ award among the public sector, for the second consecutive year, pertaining to the financial year of 2018.
The Command Internal Auditor, Wing Commander RR Somathilaka received the award on SLAF’s behalf during the ceremony held at the BMICH.
Money & Capital Market and State Enterprise Reforms State Minister Hon. Ajith Nivard Cabraal was also present at the ceremony.
The ‘Association of Public Finance Accountants of Sri Lanka’ had organized the event together with the Ministry of Finance.
Afterwards, the award was presented to the Air Force Commander Air Marshal Sudarshana Pathirana by Wing Commander Somathilaka at the SLAF Headquarters.
This year’s competition was held for the 4th occasion, while giving prominence to the healthcare guidelines, the SLAF said.
