Pandemic Control Operations
March 15, 2021Tri-Forces and Police are conducting operations to contain the spread of Coronavirus in the island by untiringly engaging in identifying the virus hit patients and sending their close contacts for quarantine to the Tri-Forces managed quarantine centres established around the country.
According to Sri Lanka’s Epidemiology Unit statistics, 87,907 confirmed cases were reported up to 14 Mar, making it the total number of cases reported in the country. 84,648 patients were recovered and the total number of deaths increased to 527 as of 14 Mar. The dotted blue curve on the graph below denotes the number of patients.
