Army Troops destroy 6 acres of cannabis cultivation
March 15, 2021The Sri Lanka Army’s 1 Commando Regiment under the Security Force Headquarters - East raided a 6-acre extent Cannabis cultivation at Bakmitiyawa reserve in Ampara yesterday (March 14).
The Army said the operation has been conducted jointly with the Police on information received and destroyed the illegal cultivation.
The Pottuvil Police are conducting investigations.
