SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT
April 21, 2019The government wishes to express its deepest condolence on the deaths caused by the bomb explosions reported in Colombo and several other parts of the country, this morning. All the injured have already been admitted to hospitals and are receiving treatment.
On behalf of the President, Prime Minister and the Government, the general public is requested to remain calm and act with responsibility.
Authorities have already commenced investigations into these dastardly acts and it is also requested that people do not get deceived or misled by rumors and dis-information and act with restraint.
