Army donates blood in a life-saving humanitarian project
March 21, 2021Sri Lanka Army (SLA) donated blood at the Army Base Hospital in Kilinochchi for regional civilian patients admitted to Kilinochchi hospitals under purview of the Security Forces Headquarters - Kilinochchi (SFHQ-KLN) recently.
Over hundred SLA troops including SFHQ- KLN Commander Maj. Gen. Harendra Ranasinghe and Tamil civilians in Kilinochchi area volunteered for this noble task following the request made by the Kilinochchi Blood Bank.
The Kilinochchi District Hospital Medical Officers and medical team assisted the blood donation campaign.
