SLA gifts stationary packs for students

The Sri Lanka Army (SLA) gifted school accessories for 50 Mullaithivu students at the Mannankdal Tamil Primary school during a recently organized function in keeping with the civil-military projects.
The valuable gift packs also contained exercise books, reading and learning materials including similar learning needs.
The Commander 641 Brigade Colonel Janak Jayewardene accompanied by SLA officials, school Principal and teachers joined the distribution ceremony.
In the same vein, over 250 Kilinochchi students received stationary packs during a Kilinochchi based troops organized ceremony recently.
The event was held while coordinating various donors with a view to support the regional needy families for their children’s education.
The distribution ceremony was organized by the Civil Affairs Coordinator and the troops of Security Force Headquarters in Kilinochchi.
