Pandemic Control Operations
March 29, 2021Tri-Forces and Police are conducting operations to contain the spread of Coronavirus in the island by untiringly engaging in identifying the virus hit patients and sending their close contacts for quarantine to the Tri-Forces managed quarantine centres established around the country.
According to Sri Lanka’s Epidemiology Unit statistics, the total number of persons vaccinated includes 894053 as of 28 Mar.
Further, 92,088 confirmed cases were reported up to 28 Mar, making it the total number of cases reported in the country. 88,623 patients have been recovered and the total number of deaths increased to 559. The dotted blue curve on the graph below denotes the number of patients.
