SLAF provides welfare measures to Diulwewa residents
March 31, 2021The Sri Lanka Air Force (SLAF) under its welfare community programme officially handed over a drinking water project to the Diulwewa residents recently.
The event was organized under the series of “Guwan Mithudam” projects of the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit along with SLAF Station Morawewa in view of strengthening those in need.
According to the SLAF, the Morawewa Yayahaya Vidyalaya at Diulwewa was renovated and gift packs have been distributed among the school children.
The occasion was graced by the Chairperson of the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit, Charmini Pathirana, as the Chief Guest.
Members of SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit, the Commanding Officer of SLAF Station Morawewa, Officers and Other Ranks participated in the occasion.
