Army Troops raid one acre of Cannabis cultivation in Kataragama
April 05, 2021The Sri Lanka Army’s 20 Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment troops raided a one-acre extent Cannabis cultivation in the Weheragala reserve at Gonagan Ara, Kataragama recently.
The Army said the operation has been conducted jointly with Wildlife Officers and the Police and destroyed the illegal cultivation.
The Gonagan Ara Police are conducting further investigations.
