Defence Secretary visits 'Ranaviru Seva Authority'
April 09, 2021Defence Secretary Gen. Kamal Gunaratne (Retd) pledged Defence Ministry's fullest support to the families of war heroes during his visit to the Ranaviru Seva Authority (RSA) today (09).
Recalling the government's initiatives mooted to look after the dependents of war veteran, Gen. Gunaratne emphasized on the national requirement of closely monitoring and addressing of their issues.
Further, the Defence Secretary conveyed the importance of delivering the services of the RSA members to achieve the government's objectives.
RSA Acting Chairperson Sonia Kottegoda, the RSA Director Maj. Gen. Prathap Thilakarathne (Retd) and senior military officers were present at the occasion.
