Chinese envoy visits Defence Services College
April 09, 2021A Chinese delegation accompanied by Defence Secretary Gen. Kamal Gunaratne (Retd) arrived at the Defence Services College in Malay Street, Colombo, today (09 Apr).
Accordingly, the Ambassador of China in Sri Lanka His Excellency Qi Zhenhong and Embassy officials were witnessed the on-going constructions projects at the Defence Services College.
Meanwhile, Ambassador Zhenhong donated Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for the use of school children and the staff.
Chinese envoy also assured his fullest support for the future endeavours of the Defence Services College.
The Defence Attaché Senior Col. Wan Dong, College Director Maj. Gen. W.R. Palihakkara (Retd), the Principal Niroshan Opatha, Defence Ministry’s Military Liaison Officer Brig. Dinesh Nanayakkara and senior military officials were present during the visit.
