The New Year message
April 13, 2021The Defence Secretary Gen. Kamal Gunaratne (Retd) on behalf of the Defence Ministry wishes all Sri Lankans a peaceful, happy, healthy and prosperous Sinhala and Tamil New Year.
Gen. Gunaratne on His Excellency the President’s behalf also requests the fullest contribution of the folks celebrating the New Year to follow the stipulated healthcare guidelines of the health authorities as practised during the previous year, envisaging to drive the country towards the development in consistent with the government’s policy statement, ‘Vistas of Prosperity and Splendor’.
